Ken Shilay established Cast Technology Inc in 1980 with the main purpose, in mind, of remanufacturing cracked diesel cylinder heads and blocks using the hot welding process. We have since expanded into a complete heavy-duty machine shop and diesel rebuilding facility -providing quality rebuilt engines, parts and remachining services to the diesel industry.

In 1998 Cast Technology became a master service dealer for Perkins gas and diesel engines providing one of the largest stocks of genuine Perkins replacement parts in the northeast.

With over 75 years of combined experience, Cast Technology or Castech, as we have become known, is the most complete heavy duty machine and diesel rebuilding facility in New Jersey shipping to all parts of the continental United States.
